why do drug rehab clinics hire family therapists to help with addictions?

rehab and family therapists - by dr. sober companion dr. rob tencer

Family therapists agree that wealth does not make people happy. Family therapists are hired by the rehab clinic to help with the family problems that arise when you have wealthy parents.

Problems like the money you give to your son or daughter, which is either through a trust fund or allowance.

You as a parent have created an inherently unequal relationship, with your children in which they are essentially employed by you. Your children believe the family money belongs to them when they reach a certain age.

While a good parent would involve themselves in their children lives, you can control and develop a loving relationship with your children. You can control the family life and the good family relationship in a positive way with the use of the money.

What often happens though, when you don't supply your children with this loving family atmosphere is that your children experiment by spending the money you control.

Your children become angry and resentful at your efforts at control, and your children gets their only sense of power by blowing money foolishly. Without your love and your time invested in your children, your children are likely to be in a state of permanent rebellion.

The problems of the rich, whether the Kennedy's, the Windsors, or the lottery winners are rarely caused just by the money. No amount of money can create good genes or good parents or good relationship or even good luck.

Wealth alone can neither cause nor cure the pains of life, it can just make them inexplicable to the envious.

Although the rich are as much in need of help as anyone else, they are an overlooked phenomenon in the family psychotherapy literature.

Wealth is not good for children. As Andree Aelion Brooks (1989) noted, it creates a lifetime dependency upon rich parents, belittles children's own accomplishments, distorts their relationships with their peers, makes them distrustful of friendships, and increases their sense of what is enough.

Fuck You Money - This is when the parents have so much money, they will never have to work a day in their lives, nor will their children have to work to make a living.

Go Away Money - This is when the parents have their own lives, and want a total seperation from their children from spoiling their individuality. The parent is able to make their children go away simply by throwing money at them.

The harm that is caused by using these techniques on the wealthy parents own children, drives the children to pick up addictions. The rich parents are directly responsible for causing their childrens addiction to drugs and their alcoholism.

If the wealthy parent deals with their children when its to late, this could result in their childs death. Simply by cutting off their childrens money might cause them to seek out illegel means for supplying their addictions. Sometimes the cause of this parental problem is when a parent carried into wealth and has no idea that acting this way to their children is like allowing them to play with a loaded gun.

If the parents were both from money, then they understood what harm they could cause their children by giving them fuck you money or go away money could cause. They can't simply be blameless in this case for causing their childrens drug and alcohol addiction, leading to their childrens death.

The cause is you as the parent, but the cure is also with you as the parent.

Parents often ask dr. sober companion:

What you can do to help my children?

How can you help with their addictions?

How do you stop them from drinking and their alcoholism?

Is it to late to help my children?

dr. sober companion answers with the simple fact that as long as your children are still living, you have a chance as a parent to help them.

Its only late when their dead.

Don't wait until you have killed your children.

i just finished a rehab clinic but not cured

strong bonds with your rehab facility are not free

when you stayed at the rehab clinic, rehab house, rehab resort, rehab mansion, your environment was different than on your own. they had you meet with doctors, therapists, personal trainers, hypnotherapists, family shrinks, and spiritual counselors. just like when someone is in a prison, it makes the time go by quicker if your mind is in something else.

by feeding you all these treatments and therapies they lock you into a new addiction. this new addiction is created to make a strong bond between the rehab facility and you. that's why they provide you with their own sober companions, because they can control the sober companion and keep the strong bond by continuing to control you. They build loyalty by addicting you to their services, none of which are free.

break the bonds and choose an independent sober companion

if you had enough of the rehab facility when you left or were asked to leave, then break your bonds of addiction to them and try dr. sober companion.

dr. sober companion is not controlled by the rehab facility and does not give kickbacks for continuing to keep people addicted to them.

dr. sober companion does not use addiction tricks like replacement therapy

Is replacemt therapy the immedate cure?

The main ingredient that some rehab centers and sober companions that work with the rehab centers use for an immediate cure for a drug and alcohol addict is to feed them another ingredient to replace the original addiction. this is known as the replacement therapy

dr. sober companion, what do you mean: "replace my addiction with another addiction?"

For instance, if you are addicted to drugs and alcohol, there is a technique used called replacement therapy, which simply means replace one addiction with a pharmaceutical replacement, that is every bit as addictive as the original.

Some of these replacement medications are:

  • Suboxone
  • Naltrexone

The rehab center or sober companion associated with a rehab center and its medical physician will place you on these replacement therapies to control your addiction, ease discomfort from cravings during withdrawal and other psychiatric medications where indicated for treatment of co-occurring disorders.
(They are every bit as addictive as what they are replacing.)

why begin the cycle of addiction again?

This is not really a cure for your addiction, nor is it recommended if you really want to end your addiction to pharmaceuticals, medications, or drugs or even alcohol. The pharmaceutical versions that control your cravings are every bit as strong and works on the same part of your brain as the drugs you became addicted to originally. Its no cure, its just a replacement.

how is dr. sober companion different?

dr. sober companion is not interested in replacing one addiction with another addiction, that may be worse than the original, and much easier to get.

why is dr. sober companion's approach unpredictable?

dr. sober companion uses a different approach that is more realistic to a natural reaction that might cause you to seek your drugs or alcohol, but you don't. Its this real life experience, that dr. sober works on. its the unpredictable life experience that dr. sober companion prepares you for.

How is dr. sober companion going to stop me from my addictions?

dr. sober companion teaches how to react to an unpredictable lifestyle, that could be filled with stress and psychological trauma. Its how you react and are taught to react to these situations, that cure you of them. This is how dr. sober gets you through your life one day at a time.

note: while dr. sober companion cannot go into details on how he preforms the unpredictable method in this blog, because this is the secret dr. sober companion's method. This method is reserved for dr. sober companion clients only.

One more DUI: will you learn after you kill a student in your way?

Do you think you would learn your lesson in DUI, only after you kill a student in your way?

"Driving drunk does not only happen after the bars close, but also during school hours."

Cherokee High School graduate Brittany Elaine Weiss once directed school plays about the consequences of drunken driving. Unfortunately, she found out the consequences personally, because on Friday, the 19-year-old Gordon College student was killed by a man accused of a DUI (drunken driving).

She went to see a tom cruise movie

Will Banks, a friend from high school, said he saw Weiss enter a movie theater Thursday night to see the tom cruise film “Valkyrie.” Weiss had just left a Canton movie theater at about 12:15 a.m. Friday when her 2008 Toyota Scion was struck broadside by a 2003 Town & Country minivan.

The driver of the minivan, Stephen Patrick Wauschek of Canton, is in Cherokee County Jail, where he faces charges of DUI and first-degree vehicular homicide, police said.

was he calling his lawyer while on the chase?

Canton police had tried to stop the suspect for possible DUI and an expired license tag, but Wauschek refused to stop. During a chase that police described as “low-speed,” the minivan ran a red light and struck Weiss’ Scion, police said.

He tried to run away on foot but was caught, authorities said, and had a suspended Michigan driver’s license.

Police said Wauschek had been arrested by Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies in September on charges of DUI, striking a fixed object and attempting to elude.

A Cherokee County magistrate judge on Friday evening set Wauschek’s bond at $318,000, but, because he had violated probation from previous DUI charges, a hold was put on his bond, police spokesman Sgt. Jay Baker said. “He cannot bond out of jail unless the hold is removed [by his probation officer] at a later date,” Baker said.

Weiss, an only child, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Scion, Kassandra Aileen Carman, 19, was injured and taken to Well Star Kennestone Hospital, where she was in critical but stable condition Friday.

“She was talking to Kayce [Kassandra Carman] as she was walking in. After the movie was over, it slipped my mind because I was in a hurry to get home. I wish I could have talked to her one last time to say goodbye.”

David Bachman, who knew Weiss since elementary school, said he hadn’t talked to her in a year but remembered her fondly.

“She was an angel,” he said. “Now that she’s gone, I think she still is an angel.”

Learn from this DUI that killed a young girl. Learn to get help.

DUI rock bottom hits when you crash into a tree

DUI: rock bottom hits when you find yourself behind the wheel of your car and you crashed into a tree.

That's not the rock bottom part, but when the police find you, then you know after you sober up at the police station or in a hospital, that you have hit rock bottom.

It happens during every big holiday like christmas, new years or even after a night on the town. It happened in Columbia.

The columbia police officers responded to several calls of a disturbance involving a DWI late Wednesday morning, as officers were dispatched to 1729 West Broadway shortly before 11:00 a.m.

When you drive drunk you kill people, including yourself and your passengers

The vehicle involved was driving erratic and people had to jump out of the way of an out of control vehicle.

The passenger made things worse by changing places with the drunk driver

Prior to the police arrival, the suspect vehicle driven at that time by Philip Peterson, collided with a tree near the parking lot. Peterson exited the vehicle and a passenger, Darrin Woods, got in the drivers seat and backed the vehicle away from the tree.

Woods lost control of the vehicle and while backing at a high rate of speed was thrown out of the vehicle. The vehicle continued to circle on the parking lot and subsequently collided with a building and a telephone pole. Witnesses provided a description of the suspects and the vehicle.

The drunk do stupid things including shoplifting

Upon the police arrival they located and arrested the three suspects. The investigation revealed that at least one suspect, Danielle Woods, had shoplifted from the Gerbes supermarket and the stolen merchandise was recovered from the suspect vehicle.

Darrin Woods and Philip Peterson were both intoxicated and arrested for Driving While Intoxicated $500 bond, Minor in Possession of Alcohol $300 bond and 2nd Degree Property Damage $500 bond. Danielle Woods was arrested for third offense Stealing with a $4500 bond.

Darrin Woods was transported to a local hospital for minor head injuries as a result of being thrown from the vehicle. There was minor damage to the tree, telephone pole and building.

DUI stories by the police asking please don't make the police your designated driver

State police are pleading with people with DUI trouble - don't make the police your designated driver. Officials have unleashed "Operation Santa," a program that aims to prevent injury and save lives by aggressively targeting drunken drivers. "We are trying to save lives and keep all of our roads and highways safe," said John Danaher III, state public safety commissioner. "Any amount of alcohol never mixes with driving a vehicle anywhere in our state." Lt. J. Paul Vance, spokesman for the state police, said they are planning roving patrols and increased surveillance throughout areas in Greenwich and Stamford on Interstate 95. However, there are no sobriety check points scheduled in town, according to a press release that lists all check-points from now until New Year's Day. Greenwich police said they do initiate check-points and increased patrols during the entire holiday season, from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, on account of the higher frequency of incidents. The traffic section has not release any specific check-point areas planned this year. Operation Santa stands for "Stop Another Needless Tragic Accident," said Vance, who noted both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve traditionally show high numbers of drunken driving arrests and related accidents. "From what we've seen in the past, the numbers are pretty much consistent with both holidays," Vance said. Police said they believe drunken driving incidents are more prevalent during the holidays because there are many celebrations, such as house and office parties, that take place and often involve alcoholic beverages. State police are hoping residents chose designated drivers to avoid the fines, jail time, serious injury and death, that can result from a DUI or driving while under the influence, Vance said. Police also want motorists who see a drunken driver to report it, as well as to make sure everyone in their own car wears a seatbelt.

this holiday season DUI message is don't drink and drive

Why do so many people keep having DUI after DUI. It only takes one DUI for permanent scarring of your life.

The problems with getting a DUI are so bad, that the Illinois Department of Traffic Safety has spent money on a new ad campaign to hammer home the hard facts about DUI's.

The new DUI or driving under the influence ad campaign's main message is "all it takes is just one DUI to permanently scar you for life." That message is communicated in new TV commercials via images of people with the word "loser" graphically seared on their bodies.

It's an unsightly visual, but a mnemonic device that can't be ignored. By latching on to such an unappetizing visual, Lou Beres and Chief Creative Officer Andy Madorsky obviously were willing to run the risk of offending people's sensibilities to make the point about drunken drivers and the horrendous harm they can cause.

The new campaign boldly communicating the "loser" aspect of drunken driving comes as Illinois is about to enact a new, stricter DUI law Jan. 1. That is when anyone with a DUI on their record must install a breath alcohol ignition interlock device on their car if they intend to drive. The device prevents starting a car if the driver's breath alcohol level exceeds a certain level.

dui after dui and why people cannot stop after one dui arrest

If you had to ask the dui question; why can't anyone stop after getting arrested for a dui? The answer might be in not placing any weight on the matter of getting your first dui. What are the repercussions of getting just one dui? How will my life change or be ruined with a police record for a dui?

Shouldn't the question about dui's be; why am I driving drunk?
Shouldn't the question about dui's be; won't my parents kill me if I drive drunk?
Shouldn't the question about dui's be; why am I driving drunk at 16 years old?
Shouldn't the question about dui's be; what will happen to me in jail?
Shouldn't the question about dui's be; how much will a lawyer cost to represent me?

This is good if you are asking yourself questions about driving drunk and getting your first dui.

'24' star Kiefer Sutherland has left jail in California after serving a 48-day sentence for drink driving.

A police officer said the actor had spent his sentence cleaning bed sheets on laundry duty and had been "very humble".

Sutherland was arrested and found to be over the legal alcohol limit after leaving a party last year. He was still on probation for a previous offence.

The 41-year-old was sentenced after pleading no contest - or guilty.

He was fined $510 (£250), given five years probation and was ordered to take alcohol education and counselling programmes, reports BBC.

Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 180 days (6 months) in a Los Angeles jail for violating her probation on previous drunken-driving and hit-and-run offences. The actress drank alcohol on at least three occasions while wearing a monitoring bracelet around her ankle, which means she violated her probation as she was not supposed to drink for 90 days.

The former Lost actress also lied about having completed her community service, reports Daily Mail.

Rodriguez, 29, must report to L.A. County jail by December 24, according to TMZ. Just in time for Christmas.

Former WWE wrestler Kurt Angle was charged with DUI and careless driving after being pulled over on the afternoon of September 28.

Officers say Angle showed "signs of intoxication," and they administered a field sobriety test, which he failed. The Olympic gold medalist was then arrested and taken to a local hospital where he refused to take a blood test.

No future hearing has been set for the TNA star, reports TMZ.

An attorney for actress Vivica A. Fox pleaded not guilty to charges that Vivica was drink-driving.

The Kill Bill actress was not in court herself. Prosecutors charged Fox with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving over the legal limit of .08, reports TMZ. When cops pulled her over last March she blew .09 and failed the breath test.

She is due back in court on October 29.

Lane Garrison has been moved to the California Institute for Men, for 90 days.

A hearing will be held on October 31 and it will be determined if Garrison will either be set free on probation or serve more prison time according to TMZ.

Garrison was drunk and driving on the night of December 2, 2006, when he crashed his Range Rover, killing 17-year-old Vahagn Setian. Two teenage girls in the car were seriously injured.

Nicole Richie went to prison yesterday expecting a four-day sentence, but she was a free woman after spending just 82 minutes behind bars.

She was released earlier due to jail overcrowding, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Nicole, who is five-months pregnant, went into the same LA jail as Paris Hilton.

As part of her sentence, she also agreed to serve a three-year probation term, will undergo an alcohol education programme, and was fined $2,048.

She was arrested in December 2006 after being spotted driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway. She was previously convicted of DUI in June 2003.

Lindsay Lohan must spend one day in jail after pleading guilty to drink driving and drug charges. As a result, she will not stand trial for DUI.

She was put on three years' probation, and must do community service and complete a drug treatment programme according to BBC.

The actress crashed her car in Los Angeles in May and was arrested again in July after being stopped by police.

She avoided more serious charges because she was only in possession of a small quantity of drugs both times she was arrested.

Ty Pennington was sentenced on Friday for driving under the influence of alcohol. Pennington received 3 years probation, a $1,500 fine, and was ordered to attend a 90-day alcohol awareness program.

According to People, Pennington said in a statement, "I'm happy to bring closure to my recent court proceedings. Drinking and driving is never acceptable. I have pleaded no contest and will abide by the court's ruling. I hope this experience can help others as much as it has helped me."

The 'Extreme Makeover' host added, "I made a really bad error in judgment."

Prosecutors think that Paris Hilton should be jailed for 45 days for violating her probation over a drink-driving charge.

They also want the 26-year-old to stay away from alcohol for 90 days and have her licence suspended for an additional four months.

Paris pleaded no contest in January to reckless driving, but police have spotted the heiress driving when she should have not been.

She is also accused of failing to enrol in an alcohol education programme by a court-ordered deadline, reports BBC.

A judge will make a ruling today at a probation violation hearing, but TMZ reports that Paris arrived at court 18 minutes late.

Busta Rhymes was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in New York, reports BBC.

Police stopped Mr Rhymes during the early hours of Thursday because his car windows were too tinted.

Officers then smelt alcohol on his breath and he was taken into custody.

Rhymes - real name Trevor Smith - is currently also facing two separate assault charges.

The rapper and actor is due to appear in court next week on two separate charges of assaulting his driver and a fan who allegedly spat on his car last year.

Why do drug addicts think they make good sober companions sober coaches sober escorts?

Why do so many drug addicts and alcoholics think they make great sober companions?
Why do so many drug addicts and alcoholics think they make great sober coach?
Why do so many drug addicts and alcoholics think they make great sober escorts?
Why do so many drug addicts and alcoholics think they make great sober drivers?
Why do so many drug addicts and alcoholics think they make great personal recovery assistant and whatever else these people are calling themselves?

But a bigger question is: Why are you choosing them?

Another drug addict and alcoholic went into the business and is calling his brand sober soldiers.

The following is a so called experts from his sober companion website:

Paris Cronin of sober soldiers

"Paris was born in Los Angeles, California and is the son of famed REO Speedwagon lead singer Kevin Cronin. Being raised on the road and exposed to the Rock N’ Roll lifestyle at an early age contributed to his struggle with drug addiction and alcoholism. At the age of 29 Paris grew tired of the way his life was going and finally decided to take control of his future and get sober. Paris began traveling all over the world working with touring bands as a Sober Companion."

The difference between paris cronin is that he is an addict of drugs and alcohol, that need to constantly be drug tested and watched for relapses of his own. (using the teachings of alcoholics anonymous: once you are an alcoholic or drug addict, you are always a drug addict and always a alcoholic)

dr. rob tencer of dr-sober-companion, also grew up in the household of a famous rock n roll group that toured the world, and also had excessive amounts of drugs and alcohol around him, except his family would not allow him to be in the same room when this excessive behavior was going on, and would not allow anyone around him to even swear or cuss around him.

Kevin Cronin failed his son and made him into the drug addict alcoholic that he is today.

dr-sober-companion is different.
dr. sober companion is made up of licensed doctors who were never drug addicts or alcoholics. Peer pressure or for whatever the reason in life, they were not cursed with the problems of addiction and don't need the supervision that all other sober companions require.

The worst fear that the families of my patients have, is that the enablers can get into the lives of their children. At sober soldiers They are letting addicts into the lives of their clients.

The list of addicts with experience as an alcoholic and drug user are endless.

* Is that the kind of 24 hour 7 day a week supervision you want for your son?
* Is that the kind of 24 hour 7 day a week supervision you want for your daughter?
* Is that the kind of 24 hour 7 day a week supervision you want for your loved one?
* Is that the kind of 24 hour 7 day a week supervision you want for your client?

Why is Shia LaBeouf driving and why celebrities keep getting DUI after DUI

Shia LeBeouf - alcoholic - addict - arrested for DUI, again and again and again...

Have another drink Shia LeBeouf. What me worry about DUI? I'm famous!

Why is Shia LaBeouf driving? Why is Shia LaBeouf driving drunk? Why is Shia LaBeouf driving drunk and getting multiple DUI arrests? How can this be that he has not been locked up? Why hasn't Shia LeBeouf calling dr. sober companion

Yes its true that lawyers can do magic when they are paid to do their job expertly at getting socialites and celebrities and people with a lot of money, off the hook with jail time.

What happens if you choose the wrong lawyer? Can you fathom your son or daughter actually doing jail time? Wouldn't a better gaurantee be to hire dr. sober companion and prevent your kids from driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol or both?

Wouldn't it be better money spent on dr. sober companion life insurance policy then paying large sums of money to defend your children in court when they knowingly have done something wrong and were caught?

Shia LaBeouf's own father gave the curse of alcoholism and drug addictions to his son, himself has been battling alcoholism and drug addiction for years.

Have another drink Shia LeBeouf. What me worry about DUI? I'm famous!

Shia LaBeouf, was predictably arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of DUI. It was only a matter of time, that he would have another DUI.

While making a left turn, Shia LaBeouf hit another car, and his truck rolled over. According to the police, “It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that Shia LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest.”

Shia LaBeouf was treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for injuries he sustained to his head, left hand and knee. Although his passenger and the driver of the other car also were hurt, the injuries (thankfully) were not serious. The actor was booked for a misdemeanor DUI and released.

If Shia LaBeouf pleads guilty to the DUI, a typical punishment generally includes: (1) three years of probation; (2) DUI classes; (3) driver’s license suspension; (4) monetary fines; and (5) mandatory attendance at a morgue or MADD class.

Have another drink Shia LeBeouf. What me worry about DUI? I'm famous!

Shia LaBeouf will fight tooth and nail to keep his driver's license, and his lawyer now has a plan.

We've learned today's DMV hearing to yank Shia LaBeouf's license has been postponed. Under California law, anyone in an accident who refuses to submit to a blood alcohol test generally has their license yanked automatically.

Shia LaBeouf's lawyer, Michael Norris, tells us he believes he can convince the DMV that when Shia LaBeouf was asked to submit to the test, he was in no position to respond. Norris says, "Asking someone to provide a blood or breath test while they're being prepared for surgery on a gurney is a very unusual situation."

Norris says Shia LaBeouf wasn't asked to submit to the test until he was already at the hospital for several hours.

Norris tells us he's asking the Sheriff's Department to turn over all videos they have of Shia LaBeouf that night, including a video of the intersection that presumably captured the entire scene. Norris says he wants to see if Shia LaBeouf was "legally arrested." Its still high time to call dr. sober companion to rescue the boy from further harm to himself and the strangers he gets into accidents with.

Could this be the future for drug addicted alcoholic Shia LeBeouf?
