Did Dr. Nathan Kuemmerle kill your son or daughter or just get them addicted?

So they got one medical doctor out of thousands just like him, that killed your son and daughter, or got them addicted to drugs. Its not only the medical doctors they need to go after, but the pharmaceutical companies and the politicians that gave them a monopoly and immunity.

Dr. Sober Companion is happy, that one more medical doctor is off the streets, but now the families of all the victims need to come forward and make a bigger case against the pharmaceutical companies for causing over doses, unneeded deaths and unstoppable addictions, that are fueled by the medical industry.

Dr. Sober companion is hoping and praying that another medical doctor does not take the place of this criminal, that killed your son and daughter.

WEST HOLLYWOOD PSYCHIATRIST, OFFICE MANAGER ARRESTED ON CHARGES OF WRITING HUGE NUMBER OF PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ADDICTIVE DRUGS WITHOUT EXAMINING CASH-PAYING ‘PATIENTS’
A doctor who maintains a clinic in West Hollywood and his office manager were arrested this afternoon on federal charges of conspiring to distribute controlled substances for writing thousands of prescriptions for highly addictive drugs for “patients” he did not examine and who simply paid cash for the prescriptions.
Dr. Nathan Kuemmerle, 37, of Hollywood, was arrested without incident at his residence by special agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration and officers with the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Antonie “Tony” Phillips, 28, of the Koreatown district of Los Angeles, was also arrested without incident this afternoon at Kuemmerle’s clinic.
Both men were charged in a criminal complaint filed on Friday in United States District court that accuses both of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, a charge that carries a penalty of up to 20 years in federal prison.
The arrests follow a joint investigation by the Redondo Beach Police Department and the DEA’s Tactical Diversion Squad, which is charged with investigating all allegations of diversion of legal drugs into the illicit market. The investigation used informants and undercover techniques to develop a 98-page affidavit that outlines how Kuemmerle received patients without appointments, wrote prescriptions for drugs like Adderall and Xanax during meetings that lasted only a few minutes, and took cash payments that he simply stuffed into his pockets.
After analyzing Kuemmerle’s prescribing history and reviewing undercover tapes made at the medical clinic, a San Diego-based psychiatrist concluded that “there is overwhelming evidence that Dr. Kuemmerle is running a quintessential ‘pill mill.’” From the beginning of 2006 through late November 2009, Kuemmerle wrote 14,529 prescriptions for a variety of controlled substances, meaning that he averaged 15 prescriptions during his normal five-hour workday, according to the report by Dr. Steven Ornish, who is also an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego.
“Dr. Kuemmerle’s professional conduct has been egregious, grossly negligent, flagrantly incompetent, and dangerous, and this is not a close call,” Dr. Ornish wrote.
The affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, where Dr. Ornish’s report is summarized, also notes that during 2009 Kuemmerle wrote more prescriptions for the largest available dosage of amphetamine salts – the generic name for Adderall – than any other doctor in California, and that he wrote 3½ times more amphetamine salts prescriptions than the number two prescriber of the drug. The affidavit also notes that an analysis of records from the years 2006 through November 2009 shows that Kuemmerle was the state’s second-largest prescriber of all Schedule II drugs, which include the highly addictive substances amphetamine salts (Adderall), oxycodone (OxyContin), hydrocodone (Vicodin and Norco), and alprazolam (Xanax).
“The misuse of prescription drugs remains a great cause for concern,” said Timothy J. Landrum, the Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration in Los Angeles. “In 2008, there were 2.5 million people aged 12 and older who used prescription drugs non-medically for the first time – that is almost 7,000 new users every day. It is unfortunate that any physician would abuse their position of trust in our communities by irresponsibly prescribing these powerful drugs. The DEA is committed to working with our law enforcement partners to ensure physicians such as Dr. Kuemmerle are brought to justice.”
Kuemmerle is a physician specializing in psychiatry who obtained his medical license in 2004. He operates a clinic on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, where Phillips is the office manager. According to the affidavit, Phillips sometimes initially discussed with the “patients” what drugs they wanted, and he often prepared prescriptions for Kuemmerle’s signature.
The investigation into Kuemmerle began in August 2009 when Redondo Beach Police arrested an individual who had offered Adderall for sale on Craigslist. That individual pointed to Kuemmerle as the source of the Adderall, telling the police that Kuemmerle wrote prescriptions on numerous occasions without any medical examination, and that the doctor would write prescriptions for various names during a single visit. According to the affidavit, Kuemmerle later wrote prescriptions for Subutex, which at $15 a tablet was expensive, so the doctor suggested that the individual sell Adderall on Craigslist to help pay for the Subutex, an opiate which is used to treat opiate addictions.
The information from this informant was corroborated by other informants and led to a series of undercover buys by Redondo Beach Police Officers and Special Agents with the DEA, according to the affidavit. The undercover law enforcement officials visited Kuemmerle’s clinic seven times in recent months, and each time they were given prescriptions of Adderall or Xanax in exchange for cash. An undercover police officer received prescriptions for both drugs for $150 during a visit that lasted only eight minutes.
Kuemmerle and Phillips are expected to make their initial court appearances tomorrow in United States District Court in Los Angeles.
A criminal complaint contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime. Every defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court.
Kuemmerle is the latest medical doctor to be charged in a drug “diversion” case where legitimate medicine is diverted to illegal uses. In an unrelated case, a Duarte doctor is scheduled to be sentenced tomorrow afternoon after pleading guilty to distributing huge quantities of painkillers in exchange for cash (see: http://www.justice.gov/usao/cac/pressroom/pr2009/010.html).

In the above press release, an informant was mentioned. Was the informant, david lerman, who posed as patients in many undercover operations for TV shows like NBC's highly rated Today Show? How important was the information provided by the informant for burrying the doctor?

NBC today show drug addiction minus a sober companion spells disaster

NBC today show drug addiction minus a sober companion spells disaster. NBC was caught replaying the famous doctor shopping segment, minus dr. sober companion (Dr. Rob Tencer DC, BSc), whom originally appeared in the segment.

Dr. Sober Companion on the today show, NBC

Dr. sober companion is once again compelled to set the record straight.

It was recently brought to the attention of dr. sober companion, that NBC today show michael jackson doctor shopping segment, featuring dr. Sober companion and the under cover work of david lerman was replayed, this time in connection with the corey haim drug overdose from obtaining drugs from dr. Feelgood, much in the same way that was discovered and presented by dr. sober companion and his guest david lerman.

This time though, the part about dr. Tencer wanting to save lives, was removed from the segment, while keeping david lerman's under cover dr. shopping segment.

We at dr. sober companion wanted to correct a few errors in the NBC today show segment.
First, the person described as working for dr. Sober companion and shown going under cover in dr. feelgood offices to gain the prescriptions was done not by an employee, nor was he ever a patient, but by a person named david lerman, who was so masterful at obtaining prescriptions from doctors, because he himself is an addicted alcoholic and drug addict, who was just showing his own technique of doctor shopping.

David Lerman paid to score prescriptions by NBC producers

Mr. Lerman was not acting as an addict in the segment, and was not employed by dr. Sober companion, he was however compensated by NBC, either in promises or money or both.

Dr. Sober companion was never compensated for appearing on the NBC today show,
and did not ask for compensation. Dr. Sober companion is trying to reveal the truth, and wanted his message to be heard.

David Lerman as a patient needing drug prescriptions

I brought david lerman (drug addict) with me to the segment to give the american public a reality of abuse of pharmaceutical drugs by addicts and to show that medical doctors are very involved in aiding drug addicts, with their drug addictions. (It did not turn out as I thought it would, as they removed almost everything I said, and only kept the drug addict scoring prescriptions.)

Its time for the medical profession to bare the blame for killing children. Its also time for pharmaceutical companies to take the blame for producing killing devices, far worse than any street drug, gun or other means of killing.

Its time for everyone who has been brainwashed to snap out of their spell, and see
what is really going on with the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry, and the politicians who have been bought off, to look the other way. Its time to remove the advertising on TV, billboards and print that is far more life threatening than camel cigarette cartoon ads.

NBC and other networks should be ashamed of themselves for accepting the pharmaceutical industry blood money, or they should also be held accountable for the deaths from drug
addiction and forms of murder such as overdosing.

Its also time to rethink the fake research and testing documents or to place further blame on the FDA, for their complicity in the fraud of the medical industry.

The killing must stop. The murderers must be brought to justice. Dr. Sober companion may have been silenced from his today show appearance, but the truth will always prevail. While mr. Lerman hides behind a vail, has his voice changed, or is seen in shadow, make no mistake, he is being enabled by greedy TV producers who care nothing for an addict, except how well he can score drugs. Mr. Lerman needs help, but after his lies and thefts from dr. Tencer, he is no
longer welcome to come to us.

David Lerman is not the victim of tv producers, because he actually shops his abilities for scoring drugs to the highest bidders.

This kind of madness makes for compelling TV

The only real drug expert is an addict, and the only real sober companion is one that demands total abstinence from enablers and replacement therapies as well as pharmaceutical drugs and street drugs.

Dr. Sober companion's main focus is to keep your children alive and stop them from becoming addicts, and to stop you from enabling your own children without knowing you are the cause of their addictions.

The Truth behind the scenes of the NBC Today Show segment

After the media request from NBC today show producers, and on a very short notice, (within 1 hour) Dr. Sober Companion and his staff hurried to get media prepared in our own wardrobe, notes and rushed to the NBC studio in Burbank, California so they could record our segment and work on other segments that eventually people backed out of.

(many people backed out in fear of their life and of their medical licenses for what they were going to reveal, which would have incriminated themselves on the highest rated morning TV show in the USA.)

Dr. Sober Companion and his intake specialist Logan, (now revealed to be an actual drug addict and alcoholic named david lerman) sat side by side and gave a riveting interview of bombshell after bombshell. The NBC producer, had us give individual interviews, and would not allow us to speak as a team, and would not allow us to speak about the Dr. Sober Companion work that saves lives. They didn't seem to even care about our Michael Jackson drug addiction bombshells, and had their own agenda and set of questions.

During the interview, dr. sober companion explained in detail our technique on how we have become such experts about latest drugs and trends.

Dr. Sober Companion explained exactly what we do and why for the segment. Dr. Sober Companion explained what we do is to go undercover as a patient to the dr. feelgood offices.

Dr. Sober Companion expertly trained staff also pose as patients at rehab centers, and 12 step meetings.

The person who interviewed Logan (now revealed to be an actual drug addict and alcoholic named david lerman) and myself was so interested in this technique, that they cut my entire interview bombshell and all, into 1 sentence.

NBC Today show also cut in its entirety the interview of Logan (whom I insisted sit next to me), who dropped bombshells and made several wake up calls, that were certain to expose the truth about drug addiction in the Michael Jackson death. (Logan, now revealed to be an actual drug addict and alcoholic named david lerman)

For NBC to get the undercover operation, they hired my employee's that I originally gave them access to, but I backed out because I feared that they were risking the lives of my staff for their own agenda.

Before I backed out of the NBC undercover operation, Logan was in charge of training my staff for the undercover operation, and the staff member who continued with NBC undercover operation against the stern wishes of Dr. Sober Companion, became unemployed. (It was now revealed that Logan is an actual drug addict and alcoholic named david lerman, and was never employed by dr. sober companion, regardless of his expertise in his own drug addiction)

NBC made many promises for dr. sober companion's involvement including featuring my staff and myself and the dr. sober blog that originally gained the interest of the NBC today show producers.

The NBC producers and the reporter of the segment, constantly assured me that the blog would be shown in screen shots with the address prominently featured. NBC was dishonest, and were full of deceit by not following through with their promises. They lied to get my full cooperation.

They completely negated the message that dr. Sober stands for and the message that we know will save the lives of people who hear it.

We only ask that in any future media requests for interviews, you allow us to help save lives by spreading the dr. sober message.

Dr. Sober is available for media interviews, and can be reached by clicking below.

NBC gives money to a drug addict to reveal how easy it is to buy drugs

Dr. Sober Companion was featured this morning on the #1 morning show in the USA, NBC The Today Show, in a special story called: "Undercover: Prescription meds in Hollywood". The video is available online from NBC entitled: "Undercover: getting drugs in Hollywood". The description of the segment on the NBC site is "Video: TODAY examines how easy it is for people with cash to get drugs."

Here is an accurate account of what really happened:

NBC was looking online for a well known sober companion with celebrity clients, that would agree to come on the NBC today show, without mentioning his own clients, but mentioning insider information about drug abuse by the rich and famous.

After NBC read the dr. sober companion blog, NBC was convinced they had found the right sober companion. "the today show" producers contacted us first via email.

NBC was only to happy to interview Dr. Sober Companion and some of his staff, and at first discussed sending one of my staff undercover to a medical doctor's office to get the same pharmaceutical prescription drugs that celebrities like Michael Jackson, heath ledger, lindsay lohan and britney spears got.
(It was now revealed that Logan is an actual drug addict and alcoholic named david lerman, and was never employed by dr. sober companion, regardless of his expertise in his own drug addiction, or ability to score prescriptions for the highest paying TV producer or for his own drug addiction)

By sending in a pseudo enabler or entourage of a celebrity, they wanted to demonstrate how celebrities obtain and continue their drug addiction, without ever setting foot in a medical office or hospital until being admitted for the morgue and autopsy like Michael Jackson or Heath Ledger.

What NBC and the Today Show was asking for, was to much for Dr. Sober Companion to participate in.
This may have cost the jobs of some of my employee's who NBC managed to convince to continue the undercover sting. (It was wrong for NBC to compensate david lerman, a drug addict for scoring drugs)

While they still courted david lerman who acted as my staff for the undercover sting, they no longer needed the dr. sober interview, nor did they want to hear my views. The promises made to dr. sober by NBC today show producers, about using screen shots of my blog, never materialized.
David lerman, who acted as my employee who conducted the undercover sting for NBC, whom I believe was seduced by the NBC producers with an enormous amount of cash, to get the job done. Lerman told me, he had pleaded with NBC to keep something about Dr. Sober, and got them to promise to place the blog website under my name as a condition for his participation.

What NBC learned after reading my blog was that
david lerman who acted as my employee is a drug addict, and that he was so good at talking to doctors because he is a professional patient, who also moonlights as a patient surrogate by the local medical colleges and has been a lab rat for experimental drug trials.

He has also been featured on the insider as the celebrity pop culture expert on celebrity drug addiction.
David Lerman posing as fake patient

Before the NBC fake undercover patient exited the building into the cameras view, he was able to pocket small amounts of medications that the doctor gave as samples, and also hold onto a few choice prescriptions he did not include in the undercover interview. He was also able to hold onto the refills for the prescriptions that were paid for by NBC.

What NBC "The Today Show" did wrong was pay for a doctors visit for a drug addict, and enable a drug addict with his favorite prescriptions, and allowed him to sample a few prescription drugs he had never tried before. (NBC reported the drugs destroyed)

Dr. Sober Companion stated in an earlier post that he would never work against the health industry he is a part of, and is not into this form of crusading to try to destroy medical doctors who over prescribe the drugs of choice of celebrity drug addicts and non celebrities who have the money to see their doctor when their schedule permits and pay for their own prescriptions to avoid scrutiny by the health insurance companies. This should be left to medical licensing boards and proper government bodies, and not to a TV network who places peoples lifes in danger.

My battle is not with the medical profession but rather with the pharmaceutical industry who systematically produce addictive drugs that are far worse than nicotine in the tobacco industries battle to keep people addicted until their horrible and painful deaths. Someone could start out with a pain killer pharmaceutical prescription for a controllable relief of pain after a surgery and become addicted for life.

A child could easily find a pescription pill bottle in their house and experiment with addictive prescription drugs. Would that be child endangerment by the parents, or would the pharmaceutical industry be to blame?

The truth in addictive prescription drugs is:

The medical doctor never made the drug addictive.

The medical doctor didn't pay the super attractive pharmaceutical rep to convince the medical profession, individually to push the drugs.

The medical doctor didn't convince the FDA to approve the pharmaceutical medications.

The medical doctor did not convince insurance companies to add the drug to their health insurance policies.

The medical doctors did not produce free sample coupons.

The medical doctor did not place ads in magazines and on TV.

Although as NBC uncovered, the medical doctor does benefit from the $5,000 cash office visit for the wealthy drug addicted patient.
